WAYTRONX SIGNS EXCLUSIVE LICENSING AND ROYALTY AGREEMENT WITH JAPANESE COMPANY, STONEWELLS

CUI, INC, Waytronx’s wholly owned subsidiary, to distribute high-end C14 encoder worldwide

TUALATIN, Ore. – October 7, 2008 – Waytronx, Inc. (OTCBB: WYNX), a leading provider of openly licensable advanced systems cooling solutions and its wholly owned subsidiary, CUI, INC., a provider of electromechanical components, today announced that it has signed an exclusive licensing and royalty agreement with Japan-based Stonewells.  The Agreement grants Waytronx exclusive rights to manufacture, market, deliver and sell the C14 encoder designed to be integrated into sophisticated medical devices and other high-end applications on a global basis.

“This Licensing Agreement is the natural culmination of Stonewells’ 20 year relationship with CUI and its management team.  The Agreement allows CUI to distribute the C14 encoder worldwide,” stated Matthew McKenzie, CUI’s President.  “The unique nature of the C14 encoder coupled with CUI’s superior customer service and proven track record in sales and distribution should allow us to make significant market gains,” concluded McKenzie.

The C14 encoder is currently in pre-production phase with the pilot run to occur in November 2008.  Market delivery is scheduled for First Quarter 2009.

“CUI’s long term relationship with Stonewells and the execution of this Licensing Agreement is yet another demonstration of the synergies between Waytronx and CUI,” explained William Clough, Waytronx’s President & CEO.  “With the introduction of the C14 encoder, Waytronx and CUI are continuing the development and marketing of their own proprietary line of products which will include the WayCool Technology,” noted Clough.

“Based on market research and feedback from our own customers, we expect the C14 to be a multi-million dollar annual revenue stream over the next several years,” explained Clough.  “Moreover, it conforms to Waytronx’s strategic initiative to identify, acquire, develop, and market unique intellectual technologies through CUI’s world class sales and distribution network.”
